What is the standard turnaround time?
Most rackets are strung within 1–2 business days of drop-off. During peak season or high-volume periods, turnaround may extend to 3 days. Rush stringing (same-day or next-day) is available on request — please mention this when booking so I can schedule accordingly.
How do drop-offs and pick-ups work?
Drop-offs and pick-ups are coordinated directly with me. After submitting a booking, I will reach out to confirm a convenient time and location. For Rutgers Badminton Club members, handoffs typically happen at practice. All other arrangements are made individually — please book first and we will sort out the logistics together.
Can I bring my own string, or do I need to buy it from you?
Absolutely — you are welcome to supply your own string. A flat labor-only fee applies in that case (see the pricing table above). Please ensure you bring a full, unused reel or at least 10 meters of string to guarantee sufficient length for your frame. I reserve the right to decline stringing if the supplied string shows signs of damage or is incompatible with your racket.
Do you inspect and replace damaged grommets?
Yes. Every racket receives a basic grommet inspection before stringing. If a grommet is cracked or missing, I will flag it for you before proceeding — sharp or absent grommets can cause premature string breakage, so it is worth addressing. Replacement grommets are available for common Yonex frames; please inquire about availability and pricing when you book.
What payment methods do you accept?
Payment is accepted via Venmo, Zelle, and cash. Payment is due at pick-up unless otherwise arranged. Please have the exact amount ready if paying cash, as I do not carry change.
